By purchasing our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms. We encourage you to read through them so you understand how we work together.

Your purchase or booking serves as your agreement to these Terms, just like signing a service agreement.

What We Offer

The Talent Co-op provides professional career development and business consulting services, including:

  • Career Branding: Resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, cover letters, personal branding statements, and executive bios
  • Coaching: Career coaching, interview preparation, job search strategy, salary negotiation guidance, and career transitions
  • Business Consulting: Recruiting strategy, talent acquisition, hiring process optimization, and organizational development
  • Additional Services: Outreach automation, job matching, and other professional services

The specific scope and deliverables for each service are described at the time of purchase.

Our Commitment to You

We are committed to delivering high-quality, personalized services that position you for success. We bring professional expertise, proven strategies, and dedicated support to every engagement.

That said, career and business success involves many factors beyond any service provider's control—market conditions, competition, employer decisions, and how you apply what we create together. We provide the tools, strategies, and materials to improve your positioning, but ultimate outcomes depend on many variables unique to your situation.

When you work with us, you're investing in professional expertise and personalized deliverables. We'll do everything we can to support your goals, and we ask that you understand results depend on factors we both influence.

Payment

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and are honored at the rate shown when you purchase.

Your payment confirms that you've reviewed these Terms and understand the nature of our services.

Refunds and Cancellations

All Sales Are Final

Due to the custom, personalized nature of our services, all sales are final. Work begins shortly after purchase, and your payment covers the time, expertise, and resources dedicated to your project. We do not offer refunds.

Coaching and Consulting Sessions

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less notice or no-shows will be forfeited. Session blocks are non-refundable but are transferable to another person and never expire.

Our Commitment

While we don't offer refunds, we are committed to your satisfaction. If you have concerns about deliverables, please reach out within 7 days of delivery. We'll work with you to address them through revisions within your package scope.

Discretionary Exceptions

Any exceptions to this policy are made solely at our discretion and do not establish precedent for future requests.

Payment Disputes

We ask that you contact us directly with any concerns before filing a payment dispute. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have agreed to these Terms and that services will be rendered as described.

How We Work Together

Turnaround

We typically deliver first drafts within 48-72 hours, though timing may vary based on complexity and how quickly you can provide the information we need.

Revisions

Most packages include revision rounds as specified at purchase. We ask that revision requests be submitted within 14 days of delivery and be as specific as possible so we can address your feedback effectively.

Your Participation

The best results come from collaboration. Timely responses to our questions and requests help us deliver on schedule. If we don't hear from you for more than 30 days, we may consider the engagement complete.

What We Ask From You

To serve you well, we ask that you:

  • Provide accurate information about your background, experience, and goals
  • Respond to our communications in a timely manner
  • Respect scheduled appointment times
  • Use our services and deliverables appropriately and lawfully
  • Understand that you're responsible for how you apply our materials and advice

Ownership and Usage

Your Content: You own the personal and professional information you share with us. We use it only to provide your services and improve our offerings.

Your Deliverables: Once paid in full, the documents we create are yours to use for your job search and professional purposes.

Our Methods: Our frameworks, templates, and processes remain our intellectual property.

Limitations

While we work hard to deliver excellent service, we want to be transparent about what our services can and cannot do:

  • We cannot guarantee job offers, interviews, promotions, or specific business outcomes
  • We cannot guarantee that documents will pass every ATS system or be preferred by every employer
  • Career and business success depends on many factors beyond our services

Our services are provided "as is" with the professional care and expertise we bring to every client. Our total responsibility for any claims is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

We are not liable for indirect impacts like lost opportunities, lost income, or other consequential effects. This reflects standard professional service practices and allows us to keep our services accessible.

Resolving Concerns

If you ever have a concern, please contact us directly. We genuinely want to make things right, and most issues can be resolved through a simple conversation.

If we can't resolve a dispute informally, we agree to use binding arbitration rather than courts. This is typically faster and less expensive for everyone. Any disputes will be handled individually, not as class actions.

These Terms are governed by Texas law.

Communication

By working with us, you consent to receive service-related communications via email and, if you've provided your phone number, via text message. This includes:

  • Updates on your deliverables
  • Appointment reminders
  • Requests for information we need
  • Important service updates

Our Relationship

We're here as your professional partner—an independent contractor providing expert services. Our advice reflects professional opinion based on our expertise and the information you provide. You make all final decisions about your career and business.
