The Talent Co-op partners with a growing set of well-funded, early-stage AI startups building production-grade systems across enterprise software, agentic workflows, voice AI, legal tech, healthtech, and adjacent verticals. We are actively recruiting engineers across multiple openings at venture-backed companies — seed through Series A — based in San Francisco and New York.

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗪𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗼𝗿

We're talking with engineers across the following tracks:

– Backend and infrastructure engineers (Python, Go, Rust, TypeScript, distributed systems, APIs, data infrastructure)

– Full-stack engineers comfortable across modern stacks (TypeScript, React, Node, Python)

– Applied AI and ML engineers (LLMs, agents, multimodal models, evals, fine-tuning, RL)

– Engineers with a builder mindset who've owned features or products end to end

Most of our partner companies are looking for 1–10 years of experience depending on the role. Some prioritize recent grads with strong internship pedigree. Others want senior engineers who have scaled from seed to Series B+ at strong startups or come from top tech companies (Stripe, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Google, Apple, DataBricks, and similar).

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻

– Small founding or early engineering teams

– Real product traction, paying customers, and meaningful equity

– Strong technical leadership with prior exits or senior backgrounds at top tech companies

– In-office or hybrid in SF or NYC, with relocation support available for the right candidates

– Compensation generally $150K–$300K+ base depending on level, plus competitive equity

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀

– CS degree or strong technical background from a top program

– Production Python experience

– Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of features, products, or systems

– Startup experience or strong signal of builder mindset (open source, side projects, founding)
